Dani Carvajal and Getafe: the deal is stuck over LaLiga finance rules

The move for Dani Carvajal to Getafe (34) is still stuck: the club is trying to overcome the financial-control issue from LaLiga to be able to register him.

While that process drags on, David Soria discussed what the arrival would mean. On Cadena SER’s ‘El Larguero’, he said: “he would be good until he comes to train tomorrow. We would be delighted… A reinforcement like Carvajal—with all his experience, his level and everything that comes with a player like that—would be a 10.”

Soria also pointed to the “only way out” as an approval/guarantee from Ángel Torres, so Getafe can complete the registration. He added: “we’ll see if the president comes up with something and we can reach an agreement. I think it will happen.”

He also looked ahead to the weekend trip to face Barça, saying: “right now they are the best team in Europe, but we’re not going to stroll there—we’re going to go win.”
