Dani Ceballos dreams of a trophy and says he'd trade titles for Betis
Dani Ceballos returned to Real Betis late in the summer window and, according to MARCA, hopes the team can fight until February, March or April.
Dani Ceballos has returned to Real Betis after nine years, coming back in the final stretch of last summer’s transfer window, and he says his main goal is to lift a trophy with the club. The midfielder shared his message in a PTV Sevilla interview preview.
The Utrerano’s words were direct: "Obviamente que cambiaría muchos de mis títulos por ganar uno con el Betis". He also asked for patience while keeping the target in view: "tenemos que ir paso a paso… y a partir de ahí, cuando lleguemos a febrero, marzo o abril veremos en la situación en la que estamos". On the Copa del Rey, he recalled what teammates told him: "Copa del Rey… muchos dicen que nunca habían vivido algo igual" and added he hasn’t experienced it yet—though he hopes the next "tres años" bring "algún título".
In LaLiga, Ceballos has played 73 minutes across the last three matchdays: he appeared in the win vs Villarreal, logged half an hour in the narrow victory over Getafe and played 11 minutes in the draw against Deportivo before the international break, as MARCA reports.
