Dani Vivian returns to action in the EH Txapela final
The Athletic Club centre-back played his first minutes of the season after a muscular injury, replacing Paredes at Anoeta.
Dani Vivian, Athletic Club’s centre-back, played his first minutes of the season yesterday in the EH Txapela final after a muscular injury kept him out of both pre-season and competitive matches. He came on to replace Paredes and partnered Alejandro Rego in the heart of the defence.
Athletic won 0-1 at Anoeta, with Maroan scoring. Edin Terzic praised his comeback: “Lo más importante es verle de vuelta porque es un jugador importante... En cuanto a la actuación, ha ganado todos los duelos...”. The coach also pointed out that this gives him another option to strengthen the defensive centre.
