Daniel Riolo demands 12 points for Marseille after slump
The pundit wants Marseille to grab at least 12 points from four Ligue 1 matches after their poor start, beginning at Troyes.
Daniel Riolo is putting pressure on Marseille after they’ve managed just three points and sit 17th: the club travel to Estac Troyes this Sunday for matchday 6 of Ligue 1. In his view, they must go for 12 points from their next four league games.
After Troyes, the schedule includes Angers in the league, plus clashes against Le Havre and Toulouse, with Europa League fixtures sandwiched in against Olympiacos and at Sturm Graz. Riolo also stressed the need for results, saying: "Il va falloir se mettre à gagner des matchs" and adding that without that output, "il faudra te regarder dans une glace".
Marseille’s only win so far came on 21 August, when they opened Ligue 1 with a 4-0 victory over Strasbourg.
