David González extends his Burgos deal through 2031
‘Ilusionista’ adds four more seasons, reaching 2031, after a Sabadell match injury, per MARCA.
Burgos have secured the future of David González: the ‘Ilusionista’ midfielder has extended his contract by four more seasons to 2031, according to MARCA.
The 24-year-old was forced off injured in the match against Sabadell. Despite that, since returning in 2024 he’s become a key part of the setup at El Plantío, collecting 86 official appearances, 19 goals and nine assists.
His link to the club goes way back: he spent seven seasons in Burgos’ academy before continuing his development at Numancia and moving into the Real Madrid system. With the renewal now in place, Burgos are backing a midfielder who carries attacking impact.
