David González suffers a hamstring injury and his return date is unknown

Burgos midfielder David González has suffered a rupture in the left hamstring (biceps femoral) and there is no return date yet. The injury occurred on Sunday in the match against Sabadell, with medical tests confirming the extent of the problem, according to MARCA.
The setback comes right after Burgos announced his renewal: the club kept him under contract until June 2031. The extension was therefore followed by concern over his physical condition, since no recovery timetable has been given by the club.
At 24, González returned to Burgos in 2024 after coming through the Real Madrid academy. Now, Sergio Francisco will have to reshuffle his midfield options while the player continues treatment and his return depends on how the injury develops.
