David Otorbi watched by Newcastle at Racing-Valencia

Two Newcastle staff members were at El Sardinero this Sunday to watch David Otorbi during Racing-Valencia. The winger came on from the bench but made an immediate mark: runs down the right flank, then a cut-back movement inside to finish off an assist from Javi Guerra and score his first goal in a Valencia shirt.

Otorbi then had another decisive moment in the last play, reaching the byline to set up the winner, Hugo Duro, after the striker had fluffed a big chance earlier.

The scouts also highlighted his attitude against a tough test, battling the left-back from Racing de Santander. Otorbi is 18 (turning 19 this week), renewed in April and remains under contract until June 2028, with Valencia holding a unilateral option to extend it by three more seasons. (according to MARCA).
