David Silva returns: signs for Supreme ShaTin and aims to debut in Hong Kong

The midfielder, retired in 2023 due to a knee ACL tear, joins after medicals and the club expects him to arrive in November.

David Silva, now at Supreme ShaTin in Hong Kong, is back playing at 40 after passing his medical tests. The club announced his arrival as official, saying he will travel soon to Hong Kong to get settled and start training on the way to his match debut.

Coming back after a tough injury

Silva had retired in 2023 because of a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. Before that setback, his last club was Real Sociedad, where he had renewed before the diagnosis came during pre-season work at Zubieta.
