This Thursday Getafe open their Conference League at Ion Oblemenco vs Universidad Craiova, with David Smajc as referee.
Getafe will make their Conference League debut this Thursday against Universidad Craiova at Estadio Ion Oblemenco, with David Smajc in charge. The UEFA announced the appointment this Tuesday, naming the 37-year-old Slovenian referee for the match.
Smajc is set to take charge for the third time in European competitions and for the second time in this tournament, having previously officiated a third-round tie. He became a professional referee in 2018 and had never before refereed a Spanish professional team in European matches.
At the VAR booth will be Aleksandar Matkovic, his compatriot, as stated by UEFA.
