Declan Rice close to agreeing a new long-term Arsenal deal
Talks are at an advanced stage: his current deal runs until the end of next season and he could be paid £240k a week.
Declan Rice, at Arsenal, is close to agreeing a new long-term contract, with BBC Sport saying talks are in an advanced stage. His current deal is set to expire at the end of next season.
The England midfielder joined from West Ham in July 2023 for £105m and has since become a key figure for the Gunners, making more than 150 starts. He is also an important player for England.
BBC Sport reports the new arrangement would come with a significant pay rise to £240,000 per week, bringing him in line with the club’s top earners, including Bukayo Saka, believed to be on around £350,000 a week.
