Arsenal have talks with Rice since March, aiming to raise his wage from €281k to €410k per week.
Arsenal are very close to extending Declan Rice’s deal, with his current contract set to run out in 2028. Negotiations have been ongoing since March, with the club keen to lock in one of its key midfield pieces.
Rice joined the Emirates in July 2023 from West Ham for €116.6 million. Now 27, he has started over 150 matches for the Gunners and has played 80 times for England, scoring eight.
The talks also include a major pay rise: from €281,000 per week to €410,000, bringing him in line with the club’s top earner, England teammate Bukayo Saka.
