Demichelis: "I spotted Harry Kane back in 2014"

In comments reported by L'Équipe, Lyon coach Martín Demichelis looked back to 2014 to explain that he had already “spotted” the potential of Harry Kane. The Argentine said he had the forward on his radar long before Kane’s later breakthrough in European football.

The quote also hints at the kind of attacking profiles Demichelis claims to track: strikers who earn their place with productivity and presence. Kane was the example Demichelis chose when recalling those early observations.
