Deportivo Abanca face CE Europa in the Copa de la Reina
Copa third round: Alberto González’s team play a one-off tie at Nou Sardenya between Nov 3 and Nov 5.
Deportivo Abanca, coached by Alberto González, already knows its Copa de la Reina opponent: the team will host CE Europa in the third round at a one-off match at Nou Sardenya during the week of November 3 to 5.
The Catalan side comes through wins over AEM and Villarreal and play in group 2 of Segunda RFEF Futfem, the same tier where Deportivo’s reserve side competes. Right now, the Abanca team are second in their category, sitting in third place overall—one point behind AEM and two ahead of Ona Sant Adrià.
The last two seasons have ended for Deportivo in the round of 16, knocked out both times by Real Sociedad, just as it happened in the campaign before the current one.
