Diego Llorente returns to Betis’ squad for Osasuna clash
The defender is back after missing time over the break, with Junior Firpo and Aitor Ruibal out for the LaLiga game at La Cartuja.
Manuel Pellegrini has named Real Betis’ squad for LaLiga EA Sports matchday eight, with the big headline being the return of Diego Llorente for the trip to Osasuna at La Cartuja (18:30 this Saturday).
Llorente had been sidelined after suffering a fracture in the bones of his nose in the match vs Real Madrid last month, and then missed further time due to muscular discomfort. Now fully fit, he’s back in the group. Marc Bartra is also included after being substituted in the game against Deportivo de la Coruña, using the international break to complete an individual plan.
Pellegrini said: "Three weeks is a lot to pause a championship." The main absences are injured Junior Firpo and Aitor Ruibal, while Iker Losada is left out for technical reasons. Manu González is also not in the goalkeepers’ list, meaning only two keepers make the trip.
The squad features:
- Goalkeepers: Álvaro Valles, Diego Conde
- Defenders: Bellerín, Ortiz, Bartra, Diego Llorente, Natan, Valentín Gómez, Fran García
- Midfielders: Facundo Bernal, Marc Roca, Nelson Deossa, Fornals, Isco, Fidalgo, Lo Celso, Antony, Abde, Morante, Rodrigo Riquelme
