Eldense thumps Oviedo (4-1) for its biggest win in three seasons

Eldense delivered its biggest win in three seasons in LaLiga Hypermotion as it beat Oviedo 4-1, scoring four goals in just over 40 minutes. The goals came from Roberto López, Fidel Chaves, Olabarrieta and Jorge Rastrojo in that opening spell.
Earlier in the campaign, the club had already found the net four times in its first seven matches, but it hadn’t produced a result as lopsided as this one. The last time Eldense recorded a 4-1 scoreline was last season in Primera Federación, where it defeated Gimnàstic de Tarragona 4-1 en route to promotion.
Over the past five years, the last four-goal margin victory was a 4-0 win vs Calahorra in 2022-23, which also ended with Eldense earning promotion.
