Enzo Maresca may lean more on Ayyoub Bouaddi than Rayan Cherki

Enzo Maresca could choose to back Ayyoub Bouaddi more heavily and reduce Rayan Cherki’s role to give the team more control over the game. The thinking comes from Wednesday’s match against PSG (2-4), when Bouaddi, aged 19, was introduced at halftime and impressed.

As L'Équipe reports, that performance may push the coach to reshuffle his plans and hand Bouaddi more minutes going forward. The trade-off, in the coach’s mind, is clear: more control through Bouaddi, less on-court time for Cherki.
