Maresca spoke after City were found guilty on all charges and insisted the club is confident of winning the appeal before Anfield
Enzo Maresca, Manchester City’s manager, addressed the aftermath of a verdict that found the club guilty on all charges tied to serious breaches of Premier League financial rules, insisting the club will fight it with an appeal.
Speaking at his first press conference since the decision was announced, Maresca said the owners are convinced they will win the appeal. He also stated he “100 per cent completely trusts” the club’s hierarchy, adding that he believes “we’re going to win the appeal”, according to Sky Sports.
