Lille took a point from Monaco after a 1-1 draw in Matchday 8 of Ligue 1 on Sunday, with a key contribution from Ethan Mbappé, whose goal was decisive for the visitors. As RMC Sport reports, Lille held on despite being a man short for a large part of the game.
After the final whistle, Davide Ancelotti stressed how important the 19-year-old has become for the team, describing him as a very important player for the group. The result leaves Lille with a valuable point away from home.
