Fabian Hurzeler wins another LMA award after Brighton’s 5-0 over Palace
The Brighton boss collects his second LMA Performance of the Week of the season for the Sunday 5-0 win vs Crystal Palace.
Fabian Hurzeler has landed another LMA Performance of the Week award, with the Brighton boss earning it for the 5-0 rout of Crystal Palace last Sunday—his second such prize this season.
Albion took control early, going 3-0 up inside ten minutes. The scoring started with a Jaydee Canvot own goal, followed by a long-range rocket from Diego Gomez and a deflected effort from Yasin Ayari.
The second half made it even clearer, as Babis Kostoulas and Jack Hinshelwood added their names to the scoresheet to complete the demolition.
After the match, Hurzeler praised the group’s togetherness: “The players are incredible. When they face adversity they are always there for each other…” and said he was “really pleased and happy for everyone who was part of this game.” The club also notes the award follows a previous recognition after Brighton’s 3-0 win over Arsenal.
