Fábio Cardoso and Rubén Vargas return as Sevilla take on Levante

Sevilla have published their squad of 24 for their Monday trip to Levante at the Ciutat de València, the match that will close the eighth matchday of LaLiga EA Sports (21:00).

The standout news is the return of Fábio Cardoso and Rubén Vargas. The Portuguese, who trained apart throughout pre-season while Sevilla looked for a transfer route, is in the squad for the first time this season due to absences in the centre of defence, where Marcao and Iker Muñoz remain injured. For his part, the Swiss is back after seven matchdays, having only played in the opening round so far.

Kike Salas makes the trip again. Even though he had been called up for the clash against Barcelona, the coaching staff chose not to take any chances and kept him in the squad for this game instead. Along with Marcao and Iker Muñoz, the call-ups also see Nico Guillén and Rafa Romero left out, with Loren taking Romero’s place. Lucas Stassin misses out too, still building up his fitness and unable to train with the group.
