Falcao, David Villa, Maxi and Godín: Atletico legends night set
Atletico Madrid face Club América on November 15 in Puebla, with the legends playing two 40-minute halves.
Atlético Madrid is set for a “Legends Night” featuring Radamel Falcao (Atlético Madrid), David Villa, Maxi Rodríguez and Diego Godín. As the club announced, the friendly will be played on November 15 at Estadio Cuauhtémoc in Puebla, Mexico, against Club América.
The match will be played as two 40-minute halves, with a host of other Atlético legend figures joining the lineup. América’s roster is expected to include Claudio “Piojo” López, Luis “Matador” Hernández, Adolfo Ríos and Rubén “Sambu” Sambueza, with the possibility of more names being confirmed in the coming days, including Cuauhtémoc Blanco.
The event also notes that it won’t be held at Estadio Azteca due to NFL commitments in the country.
