Filipe Luis drops Minamino, Biereth and Coulibaly for Monaco vs Toulouse

Filipe Luis won’t have Takumi Minamino, Mika Biereth and Mamadou Coulibaly available for the Toulouse trip to Louis-II. The game is on Saturday night for Ligue 1 matchday 6.

The head coach had warned on Friday during his press conference. With the squad “almost fully available” except for Paris Brunner, suspended, the key decision impacts the starting XI: Coulibaly missed the warm-up due to adductor discomfort and is still not fully fit.

Minamino, meanwhile, played last Saturday against Pisa (2-0) but is still in the comeback phase after a serious injury. Biereth, who scored against the Italians, is also left out.

For the right midfield/half-space role, Anis Soubeir, Mathys Detourbet and Ansu Fati are in contention. Alternatively, Filipe Luis could shift Matthis Abline or start Folarin Balogun. Kick-off is at 20:45.
