Finn Jeltsch at Stuttgart: Barcelona and Real Madrid keep tabs
Sky Sports says a Barça scout attended Stuttgart’s 9 September Champions match vs Viking. Jeltsch is valued at ~€45m and stays under contract to 2030.
Finn Jeltsch, the VfB Stuttgart centre-back, is being watched by FC Barcelona and Real Madrid. The latest push comes after Sky Sports reported a Barça scout was on site for the Champions League match in which Jeltsch played on 9 September, when Stuttgart faced Viking Stavanger.
The 20-year-old (1.88 metres) has recently made the jump to Germany’s senior team under Jürgen Klopp. His market value is put at around €45m, and he is tied to Stuttgart until 30 June 2030. He has already featured in six matches for his club this season.
Real Madrid have also been linked with Jeltsch as a potential long-term replacement for Antonio Rüdiger, who is 33 and contracted until the end of this campaign. Barcelona, meanwhile, had central defence as a top summer priority in 2026 before shifting their focus elsewhere.
