That win leaves the coach able to have all his key players available ahead of Ligue 1, where Lyon host Stade Rennais. The paper frames Rennes as a direct rival from the upper end of the table.
Big test in Ligue 1
The match is scheduled for Saturday at 20:45, with Lyon looking to turn the Europa League momentum into a strong league performance. With the squad back to full strength for this one, Fonseca’s selection becomes much less limited than usual after overseas travel.
