Franck Haise (Rennes) heads into OFI Crete after 19 winless Europa games

Franck Haise, Rennes’ head coach, travels into Thursday’s clash with OFI Crete (21:00) trying to end a trend he can’t ignore: 19 straight European matches without a win, according to L'Équipe.

There’s a bright side to his continental record in recent years. In the past four seasons, he has qualified three different teams for Europe. Now, ahead of the OFI Crete game, he’s tasked with turning those qualification runs into points.
