François Modesto named Genoa sporting director, three months after Juventus exit

François Modesto has been appointed Genoa’s football director this Sunday night, just three months after ending his time at Juventus. The 48-year-old French former defender steps into a role focused on sporting operations.

L’Équipe reports that this isn’t his first time in similar positions: Modesto previously held comparable duties at Monza and at Juventus over recent years. Now, Genoa gets an experienced football decision-maker to coordinate its sporting direction.
