Frenkie de Jong misses Barca group session, still sidelined in the rain
FC Barcelona trained on Monday without Frenkie de Jong, who worked separately as the squad turns its focus to Getafe on Oct 10.
FC Barcelona returned to training on Monday morning at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper despite heavy rain, but Frenkie de Jong stayed away from the group and did individual work. The session reflected that only some players were in Barcelona, since others were not due to their international commitments.
Those who did take part on the pitch at Camp Tito Vilanova included Eric, along with Szczesny, Gavi, Gerard Martín, Gabriel Jesus, Brian and Balde, all under Hansi Flick.
The next match for the Blaugrana is on Saturday, October 10, at the Spotify Camp Nou against Getafe (18:30), as the club keeps an eye on regaining players ahead of the game.
