Gouiri and Kondogbia return as Marseille name squad for Troyes
OM face Troyes this Sunday at 20:45 for matchday 6, with key returns in the group: Gouiri and Kondogbia make it.
Olympique de Marseille have released their squad for the trip to Estac Troyes this Sunday at 20:45, with several big returns boosting Bruno Genesio’s options. Before the international break, Marseille were 17th and second from bottom in Ligue 1, but they aim to close matchday 6 with a stronger-looking group.
Amine Gouiri is back after international duty with Algeria, though he returned with a reported thigh issue. The staff had been cautious given the stretch of fixtures ahead, but he’s included for the game. Geoffrey Kondogbia is also in the group after a thigh injury picked up at the end of August.
Tochukwu Nnadi is another positive: he returns after recovering from an early-September knee injury, and makes Genesio’s 21-man list. Marseille will be without Timothy Weah due to suspension and Pierre-Emile Højbjerg due to a thigh problem suffered after a muscle injury during a Wales match, expected to keep him out for about 15 days (four games).
Derek Cornelius remains sidelined in the medical room until 2027 after a serious hip injury during training. (source: RMC Sport).
