Hansi Flick’s Barça go for their eighth straight win vs Getafe
Saturday Barça-Getafe: the Blaugrana want an eighth consecutive victory and keep their home streak rolling, with Raphinha ruled out.
Barcelona host Getafe this Saturday with a clear aim: Hansi Flick’s side are chasing an eighth straight win after taking control in their first seven LaLiga matches. The challenge goes beyond that, too, as they want to match the club’s best home run of 25 consecutive victories from the early 1950s.
Eight in a row, plus a record
As MARCA points out, in the 21 meetings between LaLiga and the Copa del Rey at the Spotify Camp Nou against Getafe, Barça have won 17 times and drawn four—without ever losing. Since their 6-0 win over Valencia on September 14, 2025, they’ve stacked up 22 straight league wins at home. To equal the historic record, they’ll need victories over Getafe, Real Madrid and Alavés.
Flick manages minutes and the lineup
Flick also has to handle a squad with 17 players who returned from international duty. The coach confirmed he won’t rush back Raphinha, who is set to miss the next two matches with an issue in the back of the right thigh. Gabriel Jesus starts up front, and Joan García—recovered from a right-knee problem—will be in goal.
Getafe, led by Bordalás, enters a busy spell. They arrive with injuries to Christantus Uche and Juanmi, while Satriano is a doubt due to a knee inflammation. Bordalás said he hopes the Uruguay international is fit, though he didn’t guarantee his availability. For now, the priority is taking points from Barça’s strong moment at the Spotify Camp Nou.
