Hansi Flick shuts down arbitral talk ahead of Barça vs Galatasaray
Asked in Istanbul about Madrid’s refereeing complaints, Barça boss Flick stayed quiet and focused on the Champions League match vs Galatasaray.
Hansi Flick, Barcelona head coach, spent the pre-match period in Istanbul avoiding any dive into the refereeing controversy coming from Real Madrid. On the eve of the Champions League game against Galatasaray, the German sidestepped the questions and pushed the focus back to the tie: “Espero que algún día aprendáis que nunca respondo preguntas sobre otros equipos. Estamos a punto de jugar contra el Galatasaray…”.
He also answered with a touch of irony when asked about Vinícius Júnior and whether he could be available for the Clasico on 25 October: “Me lo puede preguntar dentro de dos semanas”. Barça are already in Turkey with 22 players called up, with the known absences including Sergi Solé and Koundé.
