Harry Kane agrees new Bayern deal in principle until 2029

England captain Harry Kane has an “in principle” renewal lined up with Bayern until summer 2029, says Sky Sports.

Harry Kane, England captain, has reached an “in principle” agreement to renew with Bayern Munich until the summer of 2029, according to Sky Sports. The Bundesliga club are now said to be finalising the paperwork for the contract extension.

Since joining from Tottenham in 2023, Kane has scored 154 goals in 156 matches for Bayern. In the last season alone, he netted 73 goals across club and country, putting him in strong contention for the Ballon d’Or.

With Bayern, Kane has already won two Bundesliga titles, plus the German Cup and the German Super Cup in the past two years. Over the same period, he also took home the European Golden Shoe twice and won the Bundesliga’s top scorer award in each of his three seasons at the club. He also led England to the Euro 2024 final and their best World Cup finish since 1966 earlier this summer.
