Harry Kane and Bayern reach a near deal to renew until 2029
Florian Plettenberg says Harry Kane and Bayern have an agreement in principle to extend his deal to 2029, with only “final details” left.
Harry Kane, 33, is close to extending his contract with Bayern Munich until 2029, according to market specialist Florian Plettenberg. His current deal expires in 2027, and talks have moved quickly in recent hours: only some “final details” remain to be tied up.
Kane joined Bayern in summer 2023 from Tottenham and has since become the team’s main attacking reference in the Bundesliga. Despite interest from other major European clubs, his plan has been to stay in Munich.
A key unfinished goal is the Champions League.
