Herbert Hainer cools down any Florian Wirtz talk at Bayern

Bayern president Herbert Hainer put a stop to speculation around a potential move for Florian Wirtz. In comments reported by kicker, he praised the player but stressed that, given Bayern’s current squad, the matter is not being considered.

Even with the compliments, Hainer’s message was direct: Wirtz is not on Bayern’s radar right now. A statement that shuts down any “moving for a signing” interpretation in the Bundesliga.
