Himad Abdelli emerges from the hard spell with OM: “built mental toughness”

Himad Abdelli, OM’s midfielder, has spoken after coming out of a rough patch in Marseille. The player said that the experience “vaccinated” him in the sense that he had to be mentally tough.

Arriving “in the middle of a crisis” last winter, Abdelli was left out of the group at the end of the season. L’Équipe reports that he now feels more at ease, is sharper, and communicates better, after a period that challenged his confidence.
