Iván Ania warns Valladolid: Córdoba aims to reach nine points

Córdoba CF coach Iván Ania arrives at José Zorrilla this Sunday with a clear target: «we have six points and we are going to compete to get to nine». The Asturian stressed the need to take it match by match, insisting that if his side competes the game properly, it will be “closer to winning”, with the focus on good play and finishing in the box.

Ania linked the plan to the confidence gained from last week’s win over Albacete at Carlos Belmonte, saying the result should help remove the fear of losing the ball. After winning, he noted that the following weeks feel easier because his team had “two and a half days” off to reset before travelling.
