Ivan Ilić to undergo surgery on left thigh injury
The Lecce forward will be operated on this Tuesday in Turku, Finland, after the injury suffered against Bologna.
Lecce have confirmed that Ivan Ilić suffered a myotendinous injury to the rectus femoris of his left leg during the match against Bologna. Further tests also confirmed a partial tendon tear.
The player will undergo surgery this Tuesday at Pihlajalinna Hospital in Turku, Finland, performed by Professor Lasse Lempainen, according to the club's official website.
