Jacobo Alfonso of Sporting interests Real Madrid

Real Madrid are monitoring the young Spanish midfielder Jacobo Alfonso, 15 years old and playing for Sporting Portugal’s under-17 team, and could start negotiations in January or June, according to ESPN.

A Spain U-16 international, Jacobo Alfonso has been part of Sporting’s academy since 2024, after earlier spells at Benfica and Vitória de Guimarães. He also has dual nationality through family ties: his father, Nuno Afonso, played for UD Salamanca among other clubs.

ESPN reports that Real Madrid have been following the talent for some time and are now looking at making a move during the next transfer windows.
