Jadon Sancho already in talks with Getafe
The Spanish side is negotiating for an agent-free winger, with Financial Fair Play and Juanmi’s long-term status key.
Getafe has already begun talks to sign Jadon Sancho (26), who is currently a free agent after his stint at Aston Villa. As Mundo Deportivo reports, Bordalás wants a dribbling winger profile capable of tipping games in one-on-one situations, and negotiations have started.
Financial Fair Play, the obstacle
Whether the deal can move forward will depend heavily on the salary issue. The club says the operation also hinges on LaLiga Financial Fair Play and on whether Juanmi can be registered as long-term sidelined, after being operated on for a problem in the patellar tendon of the knee.
Ángel Torres talks contacts
In the build-up to a Conference League match, Ángel Torres admitted they’ve been discussing Sancho for three or four months and that they would move if it’s possible. He also mentioned Dani Parejo as an option, but noted they must comply with LaLiga rules and that they will decide next week.
