Jadon Sancho, 26, could return to football with Getafe, but the salary terms are a big shock. As reported by The Athletic, the club has offered him €400,000 until the end of the season—about €12,000 per week.
That figure is far below what he earned at Manchester United. The winger was on roughly €300,000 per week, so the reduction would be close to 97%. Sancho is an agent free after his contract with United ended at the conclusion of last season, and he hasn’t ruled out the move.
Before taking a decision, he is set to meet with José Bordalás. In the meantime, Sancho has shared training videos on social media as he waits for a solution.
