Jarell Quansah (Real Madrid): interest grows amid Chelsea links

Real Madrid have turned their attention to Jarell Quansah (Bayer Leverkusen), the 23-year-old England defender who was on Arsenal’s radar with a summer bid and was also checked by Chelsea, according to BBC Sport.

Elsewhere in the gossip mill, Liverpool are monitoring Gilberto Mora (Club Tijuana), 17, though Borussia Dortmund and Benfica are also said to be keen. Roma missed out on an Endrick loan in the summer but still hold interest in bringing the Brazil striker in January.

There’s also a bit of business done: Bologna have agreed a free transfer for Matteo Darmian after he left Inter Milan at the end of last season.
