Javi Hernández returns to training with Manolo González at Espanyol
Espanyol host Málaga at La Rosaleda on Friday at 21:00, with Javi Hernández available after a minor muscle injury.
Good news for RCD Espanyol: Javi Hernández is back in training with Manolo González and will be available for the Friday match (21:00) at La Rosaleda against Málaga, bottom of LaLiga EA Sports.
Mundo Deportivo reports that the winger had been left out of Spain U-21 due to a minor muscle injury in the obturator of his left leg. After rejoining group work, the only absences from the session are the senior internationals Roberto Fernández and Vanja Drkusic, who are expected to return to the Dani Jarque sports complex on Thursday.
Elsewhere, Javi Puado keeps building fitness after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee last January. Omar El Hilali, successfully operated on at the start of August for a right-leg biceps femoris tendon injury, is still not expected back until December.
