Javi López-Pinto returns as Sabadell host Tenerife
Sabadell regain options at Nova Creu Alta; Miki Codina is out, and cards could rule out Javi López-Pinto and Óscar Sanz vs Albacete.
Sabadell look to regain their best feelings this Sunday when they host Tenerife at Nova Creu Alta, with the aim of getting back that home support.
Javi López-Pinto has completed the week training normally and, as reported by Mundo Deportivo, his coach expects him to be available. His season start was derailed by a knee injury, followed by muscle discomfort in the calf: he missed the opening rounds and, after returning, only managed 140 minutes across five matches. With Miki Codina ruled out, he could be an option at left-back. Edgar González is also back after serving a suspension for two bookings at Burgos.
Still, there are card-related risks: González will return with four yellow cards and will miss the clash with Albacete if he is booked against Tenerife; Óscar Sanz is in the same situation, one booking away from a ban. Kaiser trained with the group and may return, while Genar continues recovering from a hamstring injury and Nuamah and Xavi Moreno need more time. Miki Codina remains out for four to six weeks with a hamstring problem. On Saturday, Sabadell will complete their final session of the week before one last training touch at Nova Creu Alta following the pitch renewal works.
