Javier Aguirre calls for a response as Valencia host Villarreal at Mestalla

Valencia head coach Javier Aguirre faces the build-up to their LaLiga match against Villarreal CF with a clear message: “The squad is keen to reverse the situation and we must go out knowing we play at Mestalla with our fans,” he said in his pre-match press conference.

Aguirre underlined how crucial the home crowd is and pushed the idea that the team must hit the pitch with that mindset—using support from the stands to change their fortunes.
