Javier Tebas hits out at Real Madrid over payments to Audiovisual
LaLiga’s chief posted invoices, citing €7.51m in 2011-2013 paid to Audiovisual New Aged.
Javier Tebas, LaLiga president, used X to attach invoices claiming Real Madrid transferred money to Audiovisual New Aged, a company linked to his circle. He made the move after a user shared a Real Madrid TV video tied to a Barcelona document about a €4.5m loan to the same firm.
In his reply, Tebas said he has supporting documentation and pointed to examples. He claimed that between 2011 and 2013, the club paid €7,513,333.55 to that company—“the same entity FC Barcelona was funding,” according to his post.
He also demanded answers from two people connected to Real Madrid:
- he told JAS and Chitín del Valle to explain why those transfers were made and what their purpose was
- he asked that Chitín explain the email dated 9 May 2018 and who instructed him to send it
Tebas then urged that the paperwork be delivered to Real Madrid so the club can respond again publicly. “Send the documents… and have them make another video,” he added, as reported by MARCA.
