Jesé sidelined: Las Palmas face weeks out with left adductor injury
Scans confirm a left adductor muscle tear and his return is ruled out for at least the rest of October.
Jesé has picked up a muscle problem and Las Palmas will be without him for several weeks, at least until the end of October. After complaints during the match versus Real Valladolid, tests confirmed a fibrillar rupture in his left adductor, according to MARCA.
The striker left the pitch visibly upset after being substituted and later made clear from the bench that he disagreed with the decision.
No exact timetable has been set by the club. In general, a fibrillar tear in this area can mean two to six weeks depending on severity.
Meanwhile, Las Palmas know their Copa del Rey first-round opponent: RSD Alcalá, with the tie scheduled between October 27 and 29.
