Jesús Rodríguez out about two months: Cesc Fàbregas warns Como
Cesc Fàbregas confirmed the Como winger’s injury, with around two months sidelined ahead of the Manchester United match.
Como coach Cesc Fàbregas raised concerns by confirming that Jesús Rodríguez is expected to miss around two months due to a training injury.
Ahead of the Wednesday clash against Manchester United, Fàbregas traced the problem to what happened after practice: “He took a shot on target at the end of training and got hurt. It doesn’t look like a minor injury, but something a bit more serious.” He also said that the staff had already felt it could be worse before gauging the extent.
The absence is a setback for Como’s attack, which also has other offensive players carrying doubts. As Mundo Deportivo reports, the club is considering changing its Champions League squad list, since the competition rules allow a replacement when the injury keeps a player out for at least 60 days and UEFA’s deadlines are met.
