Joan Laporta hits back at Real Madrid: “They’re losing credibility”

Barcelona president Joan Laporta took aim at Real Madrid, saying the club “goes against everyone and everything” and that Real Madrid are “losing all their credibility and prestige”. He added that, in his view, they oppose everything at first and then “eventually join the majority”.

Laporta also addressed the Negreira case. He claims Real Madrid blamed Barcelona “before we’ve even been tried”, and said that when the verdict comes out and the case is dismissed, they “will have to retract their statements”.

Finally, he said that at Barcelona they are in a “sweet moment”, enjoying the club and a period he described as “beautiful” in its history, while in Madrid, he believes the aim is “to minimize” the club’s role.
