Jokin Aranbarri (Eibar) demands “fire” vs Real Oviedo
The Eibar coach heads to the Carlos Tartiere for a tough game where Oviedo have conceded just one home goal.
Eibar head coach Jokin Aranbarri is set for this Monday’s match at the Carlos Tartiere with a clear message: keep pressing despite the team’s momentum and stay grounded. The manager pointed to the 21 points the club already has and warned that the week’s challenge will be tough. “It’s going to be a really difficult game because at home they’ve been very solid. They’ve only conceded one goal… and we’ll have to adapt to every situation,” he said.
Aranbarri also focused on playing with the same identity away from home, aiming to “go for things” and pushing hard as part of the daily work. He stressed that they are still early in the league — “we’ve only played eight matchdays” — and that there is room to get better.
He also confirmed that Nolaskoain will be back in the squad six months after the ankle sprain he suffered against Huesca. “He’s fully recovered… he’s been training with the group normally and, unless something strange happens before Monday, we expect him to be available,” Aranbarri added.
