Jokin Aranbarri warns Eibar: “Albacete has strengths and good players”

Jokin Aranbarri, Eibar head coach, insists this Saturday’s trip to bottom side Albacete is anything but a formality. He says the rival “has many virtues and good players”, as his team rolls on a remarkable run of six straight wins.

Aranbarri wants maximum concentration rather than complacency. He highlights the need to control Albacete’s fast attacks and transitions, warning that “duels” can be dangerous when opponents can turn quickly and then go vertical.

On availability, the coach also brings good news: Olaetxea is set to make his debut in the squad after a long recovery from pubalgia. Peru Nolaskoain, who has trained with the group this week, is close to returning, and Aranbarri expects both to add options for the clash.
