Jokin Aranbarri warns: Mallorca are a powerful team at Ipurua
Eibar boss Jokin Aranbarri heads into Saturday’s game with Mallorca with just one confirmed absence: Sergio Álvarez.
Jokin Aranbarri is preparing Eibar’s home game against Mallorca this Saturday at Ipurua with only one confirmed absence: Sergio Álvarez. The Eibar coach spoke this Friday and stressed that his side need to get back to winning.
Aranbarri analysed the visitors as a very rounded side. Without the ball, he believes they press high and defend strongly in the box; with the ball, he says they attack with wide men and very vertical forwards. “It’s a powerful team… it has the ability to hurt you quickly,” he said.
Ipurua and “inner fire”
He also focused on mindset, recalling that after conceding first in Oviedo his team showed they wanted to go for the game: “That inner fire… is very valuable.” He added that returning to Ipurua after four of the last five matches away is an extra lift, insisting that the atmosphere there—backed by their supporters—makes a difference, including the recent strong atmosphere at home and the complete display versus Las Palmas.
